飲み込むだけのカプセル型内視鏡「M2A」にZarlinkのワイヤレス技術が採用 [MYCOM PCWEB]
M2Aカプセルには、マイクロチップカメラ、フラッシュになるLED、RFトランスミッタ・チップ、アンテナ、酸化銀電池×2などが搭載されている。口から飲み込まれたM2Aカプセルは、食道、胃を経由し、小腸に達する。このシステムは秒間2コマの撮影が行えるもので、小腸の内部を撮影し、様々な疾患の発見に役立てることが可能とされる。撮影された画像データは無線で送信され、患者がベルトに装着したレコーダに保存されるので、撮影中も日常生活を支障なく送ることができるという。飲み込む胃カメラ！ しかも飲み込んだ後は日常生活を普通におくれるそうです。 将来的には中に薬剤を入れたり、外部から無線で電力を供給したりできるようにすることを考えていると云うことで、消化器系の炎症などに効果的に働いてくれるかも知れません。
どうでも良いんだけど、このカメラやっぱり使い捨てかな？
